From 16 April to 31 May, Loft Art Gallery presents The Loft Collective, a group exhibition in its Casablanca space.
Bringing together a wide spectrum of artists from across the gallery’s programme, the exhibition unfolds as a moment of convergence where practices shaped by distinct African geographies, generations, and sensibilities enter into dialogue.
Spanning pioneering figures of Moroccan modernism to contemporary voices from the continent and its diasporas, The Loft Collective traces a living continuum rather than a fixed narrative. Through painting, textile, photography, and mixed media, the works on view articulate shared concerns around form, memory, and transmission.
Featuring works by Malika Agueznay, Walid Ardhaoui, Nassim Azarzar, Mustapha Azeroual, Amina Benbouchta, Othmane Bengebara, Marion Boehm, Joana Choumali, Elladj Lincy Deloumeaux, Khadija El Abyad, Abdelkrim Ghattas, Mehdi-Georges Lahlou, Mous Lamrabat, Radia Lamrani Karim, James Mishio, Amina Rezki, and Samy Snoussi.
