From 16 April to 31 May, Loft Art Gallery presents The Loft Collective, a group exhibition in its Casablanca space.
Bringing together a wide spectrum of artists from across the gallery’s programme, the exhibition unfolds as a moment of convergence where practices shaped by distinct African geographies, generations, and sensibilities enter into dialogue.
Spanning pioneering figures of Moroccan modernism to contemporary voices from the continent and its diasporas, The Loft Collective traces a living continuum rather than a fixed narrative. Through painting, textile, photography, and mixed media, the works on view articulate shared concerns around form, memory, and transmission.
Featuring works by Malika Agueznay, Abdelkrim Ghattas, Mustapha Azeroual, Joana Choumali, Mous Lamrabat, Khadija El Abyad, Samy Snoussi, Marion Boehm, Amina Rezki, Nassim Azarzar, Walid Ardhaoui, and Elladj Lincy Deloumeaux.
