In Johannesburg, where she used to live, Marion Boehm was committed to members of South African society and fed up her artistic work with her experiences.
She addresses in turn the social, economic and cultural issues of the African continent. Her work is characterized by large-format portraits in which colonial and contemporary histories are in dialogue.
