Born in 1978 in Kairouan, Tunisia, Walid Ardhaoui now lives and works in Tunis. His hyperrealism serves as a medium between reality and the subconscious, allowing him to transcend the boundaries of language and culture. He intentionally blends elements of drawing, painting, and photography in a dissonant manner to address topics such as immigration, consumerism, and the loss of innocence inherent to adulthood. Through his deliberate fusion of media, Ardhaoui invites us to contemplate the complexities of our world and our place within it.
