In 2020, the FOMU awarded a COVID-19 scholarship to Mous Lamrabat, Aurélie Geurts, Joud Toamah, Hélène Amouzou and Alexey Shlyk & Ben Van den Berghe. They create new works inspired by the uncertainties of the current period. The images have been integrated into the FOMU collection.
The COVID-19 Labor Exchange consists of financial means released by the FOMU supplemented by donations from visitors and the FOMU Patrons, as well as subsidies from the city of Antwerp.
